If you are looking for a centrally located townhome community that offers plenty of green space to get out and enjoy Atlanta’s mild weather, well kept grounds and amenities and homes that are well constructed; you should check out Westover Plantation. It is located off of Defoor’s Ferry in between the Moore’s Mill and Howell Mill exits off of I-75. Glen Iris Lofts is located across from upcoming $437 million Ponce Park development and walking distance to Whole Foods, Freedom Park, and Piedmont Park. These lofts are off Glen Iris Drive between Ponce de Leon Ave and North Ave. Glen Iris Lofts is one of my favorite loft buildings. It is one of the first loft buildings in Atlanta. There are two buildings. One of the buildings is a true conversion with another building that looks like authentic. With Glen Iris Lofts being so close to the new development, Midtown, Virginia Highland, Downtown, I-75, I-85, and more, these lofts are worth viewing.
Each Glen Iris Loft boasts of gorgeous hardwood and concrete floors, exposed ductwork, exposed brick wall, and lots of natural light from the windows. This loft community has several floorplans offering functional rooms, very open feel, and ample space. The kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and good cabinet space. Glen Iris Lofts are one of the few lofts that have a gas stove/oven for those who enjoy cooking.
Glen Iris Lofts amenities include pool, parking garage, security gate, and all the places that are in walking distance. Glen Iris Lofts distinguishes itself from other buildings in that there are both two level lofts and one level lofts. I want I like about this loft is that it offers a lot of sq. ft. for the money. If you are looking for new construction, green loft living in Chamblee, look no further than Eco Lofts. From the low to high $200’s, these convenient 2 bedroom lofts utilize wind energy, provide 2 parking spots per unit and come with all of the modern finishes you could want.
Minutes from Brookhaven and Buckhead, standard features include hardwood floors, carpet in the bedrooms, granite countertops, large windows and high ceilings and there is a pool and fitness center onsite as well. HOA fees are extremely reasonable at $150 per month give or take, and for Atlanta, that’s a solid number.

Kennesaw is located in the heart of Cobb County and only twenty miles northwest of downtown Atlanta off interstate 75. One of the most attractive features of these condos is the location. The Manhattan is walking distance to several restaurants including Panera, Doc Greens, Jimmy Buffet’s Cheeseburger in Paradise, Outback Steakhouse, Flemings, and so much more.
