Brookhaven has so many good things going for it like; Dekalb taxes, great highway access, new shops and retail (on Dresden) and it is less than 1.5 miles from Buckhead. Not only is the under 250K market one I advise taking a look at in Brookhaven, I also recommend looking at some of the surplus builder product of new Brookhaven homes and the Brookhaven Foreclosures that are coming available.

Brookhaven heights is one of my favorite Brookhaven neighborhoods. It is very close (walking distance) to shopping and restaurants. The neighborhood is also particularly close to the Brookhaven Marta station. This is extra convenient when traveling to the Atlanta airport.
