“After moving to Atlanta from Charlotte, NC in April 2004,
we were completely overwhelmed by the prospect of buying a home.
In addition to not knowing the city and which neighborhoods would
suit our needs best, we were also concerned about neighborhood
schools, living inside versus outside the perimeter, home prices,
traffic and the famous Fulton County taxes. Faced with a daunting
amount of research, we resigned ourselves to pay a hefty monthly
